This role involves the analysis, design, and evaluation of various building structures while collaborating with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design using industry-standard software and codes
Develop detailed structural drawings and specifications
Oversight of design calculations, preparation of the construction documents, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, site reviews, and RFI responses
Review and approve structural calculations, reports, and shop drawings
Coordinates information across all disciplines to ensure deliverables are compliant with client expectations and EDT Quality levels
Performs QA/QC in accordance with EDT procedures
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and provide recommendations
Collaborate with project teams to integrate structural designs with other disciplines
Mentors and provides oversight to engineering team. Responsible for the learning, professional development, and growth of the assigned team, as well as training and career development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, SAFE, ETABS, RISA, Revit, BIM and AutoCAD, etc.)
Strong understanding of building codes and construction standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one
