VP of Sales-AMER

Assertive Yield is a fast-growing optimization platform empowering publishers and SSPs to drive more revenue through intelligent auction dynamics, traffic shaping, analytics, and real-time decisioning. They are seeking a VP of Sales to lead their regional GTM efforts, manage a high-performing team, and accelerate platform adoption across strategic accounts in the Americas and emerging markets.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Americas & Emerging Markets sales team, including current Sales Executives and future regional sellers
Build a high-performance, outbound-driven culture with disciplined prospecting, territory coverage, and pipeline diversification
Support sellers across the full sales cycle, from outbound strategy and discovery frameworks to pricing proposals, negotiations, and closing
Own regional revenue targets, ensuring pipeline creation, forecasting, and deal execution
Identify new revenue streams, including new verticals, geographies, and monetization models
Enforce CRM discipline to ensure clean data, accurate forecasts, and visibility into deal movement and risks
Build and operationalize GTM strategies for enterprise publishers, app developers, networks, SSPs, and media organizations
Partner with the CRO, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align on positioning, market feedback, and roadmap priorities
Ensure sellers have the enablement, collateral, and product knowledge to win competitive deals
Represent the company at conferences, webinars, client summits, and executive meetings
Stay current on industry trends: SPO, supply chain efficiency, AI monetization, prebid/server-side innovation, traffic shaping, and auction dynamics to inform GTM and product strategy
Build relationships with key publishers, partners, and industry leaders to strengthen market presence and generate an executive-level pipeline

Required

7-10+ years in B2B tech or SaaS sales, with 3+ years leading quota-carrying teams in AdTech or programmatic environments
Demonstrated success selling enterprise solutions to publishers, SSPs, or supply-side ecosystem partners
Proven track record of building and scaling regional revenue functions, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
Experience driving revenue across the Americas and/or emerging markets, with comfort navigating regional nuances
Strong understanding of programmatic monetization, ad ops workflows, yield optimization, and RTB mechanics
Fluent in English; additional languages a plus

Preferred

Experience selling optimization platforms, analytics tools, SSP technology, or monetization infrastructure
