Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities are in 3D solid modeling, finite element structural analysis, and mechanical design of turbomachinery components and systems
Aerodynamic design and analysis skills are welcome, as is program management experience
The role includes assignments across a range of projects in the aerospace, industrial, automotive, and renewable energy fields
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's (BS) or Master's (MS) degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
at least five years' experience in the design, analysis, or test/development of machinery
excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
understanding of turbomachinery
working knowledge of solid modeling and finite element structural analysis
U.S citizenship
Preferred
Experience working in a consulting engineering environment
experience with mechanical design and analysis of turbomachinery systems
experience with turbomachinery fluid dynamics
experience with thermodynamics
experience with computational fluid dynamic analysis
