Responsibilities
Provide application development, maintenance, and production support for MDHHS systems
Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core / C# applications
Build and consume RESTful Web APIs
Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries (Select, Insert, Update)
Develop functionality allowing users to upload documents through web applications
Participate in Agile / SCRUM sprint development activities
Develop and maintain unit and regression tests
Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams
Use GIT repositories for source control and code management
Follow best practices for secure application development
Qualification
Required
5+ years of .NET Core (3.1 or higher; 6.0 preferred) and C# experience
5+ years developing REST web services / Web APIs
5+ years SQL experience, including complex query development
3+ years experience developing web-based document upload functionality
5+ years working in Agile / SCRUM environments
5+ years using GIT for version control
5+ years developing unit and regression tests
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Preferred
Experience building secure web applications using industry best practices (e.g., protection against XSS, SQL injection, application logging)
3+ years using Azure DevOps / TFS (boards and repositories)
Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira
Familiarity with SendGrid
Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
Experience integrating identity providers using OIDC or SAML
