Responsibilities

Support the preparation of budgets, operating plans, forecasts, and investment strategies
Provide timely, accurate financial reporting and analysis comparing actual results to historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategic plans to support business decision-making
Partner with commercial and operational teams to develop financial roll-ups and track performance for assigned business units using standardized templates and systems
Prepare variance analysis and commentary by reporting actual results against forecasts
Assist in the preparation of monthly business reviews, board presentations, and investor materials
Identify and drive process improvements and efficiencies in financial reporting and consolidation
Manage fixed cost forecasting, actual reporting, and variance analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders to gather data related to fixed costs and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects as requested
Support the development and maintenance of financial models
Manage all polymers commercial reporting processes, including monthly updates, report publishing, and user security
Ensure data integrity and continuity by diagnosing and resolving master data issues in collaboration with appropriate teams
Serve as the Power BI owner and designer for commercial, polymer finance, and other functional reporting tools
Evaluate new reporting tools and recommend enhancements or adoption
Deliver Power BI training sessions and 'Lunch & Learn' presentations on a regular basis
Support Corporate FP&A with the development of new reporting solutions
Continuously seek opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy, and usability
Maintain documentation for financial systems, tools, and processes

Required

2+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
Solid understanding of accounting principles, policies, and practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English
Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making ability
Experience working collaboratively in a matrixed, global team environment
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited college or university

Preferred

Experience with SAP (FI, COPA, BI) preferred
Strong financial analysis and cost accounting experience preferred
Ability to work in highly automated systems and translate data into meaningful business insights
Chemical industry or manufacturing experience is a plus
