Responsibilities
Sheet Metal Design: Develop innovative and efficient sheet metal designs for various projects, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness
CAD Modeling: Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and drawings, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate conceptual designs into tangible products
Product Development: Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization and prototyping to final production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines
Problem-solving: Identify and resolve design challenges and technical issues through creative problem-solving and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by implementing best practices, optimizing design workflows, and staying updated on industry trends and advancements
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in sheet metal design and fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred, but not required with significant relevant experience
