Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy ML models to support predictive analytics, risk scoring, and personalized patient care
Build scalable ETL pipelines using SQL and Python to process large healthcare datasets (EHR, claims, lab data, etc.)
Lead initiatives in Generative AI (e.g., LLMs, NLP) to drive innovation in patient communications, documentation, and clinical summarization
Partner with stakeholders to define data science use cases and present complex findings in a clear, actionable manner
Mentor junior team members and contribute to model governance and deployment best practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional experience in data science or advanced analytics, ideally in the healthcare or life sciences space
Expert in SQL and Python for data wrangling, modeling, and automation
Strong background in machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost)
Hands-on experience applying Generative AI / LLMs to real-world problems
Familiarity with healthcare data types (e.g., HL7, FHIR, ICD codes, CPT codes) is a plus
Experience working in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred
Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
