The Patient Access Representative provides exceptional customer service and assists patients and families while ensuring proper registration and communication with the appropriate departments.

Responsibilities
Provides exceptional customer service to Care Dimensions patients, families, and referral sources
Works with both active and prospective patients and can educate/explain all services offered
Responsible for answering phone calls
Registering patients for all business lines
Ensuring the caller is sent to the appropriate department/team if transferring is necessary
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
Minimum one (1) to three (3) years' work experience in a health care or medical office environment; or, any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the requisite knowledge and skills needed for the position
Proficiency in MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and healthcare specific systems and databases required
Professional and pleasant telephone manner
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and maturity
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and the public, personally and by telephone
Preferred
Associate's Degree preferred
