Responsibilities

Lead the execution of high-impact performances—from school showcases to youth festivals and galas

Ensure each event is a meaningful, high-quality experience for students, partners, and guests

Build and manage the event calendar aligned with school schedules, venue availability, and internal priorities

Keep all departments informed and aligned to a single, shared timeline

Supervise internal shows admin associate and freelance production staff

Direct instructors, engineers, tech crew, volunteers, and vendors

Run pre-show briefings and post-show debriefs to foster consistent improvement

Coordinate tech needs, stage plots, run-of-show documents, and logistics

Standardize processes and documentation to ensure flawless execution, even in your absence

Serve as a clear, calm, and confident point of contact for schools, donors, partners, families, and staff

Lead with poise, uphold the YMU standard, and reinforce a strong organizational presence
