Responsibilities
Be accountable for the execution and delivery of construction projects within their assigned metro, ensuring projects stay on track with funding and execution
Lead and develop metro DCS teams, including direct reports and cross-functional teams, to deliver data center capacity. They are responsible for mentoring team members and fostering a positive team culture
Contribute to strategic approaches for funding and execution at speed and scale, and works to remove roadblocks in the funding and approval processes
Engage with cross-functional teams, such as Data Center Operations (DCOps), to understand their needs and align on expectations for planning, execution, and delivery
Manage multiple campuses and also lead the turn-up of new Main Distribution Areas (MDAs)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in program or project management
5 years of experience in a leadership role
5 years of experience in driving cross-functional teams toward common project goals and developing creative solutions that minimize impact on project timelines and costs
5 years of experience managing direct reports, external contractors/vendors
Preferred
8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
8 years of experience with equipment/environments (e.g., switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems)
Experience managing vendor relationships and a strong understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast-track design-build processes
Knowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to gather requirements, organize resources, prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and achieve objectives within defined goals
