Responsibilities

Manage monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes

Ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations

Support audits and maintain the chart of accounts

Supervise payroll operations and compliance

Coordinate with HR for accurate employee data

Oversee payroll tax filings and reporting

Lead AP team in invoice and payment processing

Review and approve payment batches

Maintain vendor relationships and oversee cash flow

Mentor and develop accounting staff

Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues

Implement process improvements and present reporting

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

4+ years of progressive accounting experience

2+ years managing people and processes, ideally with oversight of payroll and accounts payable

Expertise in general ledger oversight and complex reconciliations

Proven ability to prepare working papers and lead an efficient month‑end close

Advanced GAAP knowledge and internal control frameworks

Experience collaborating with auditors

Experience leading payroll and AP teams with accuracy and compliance

Skilled in payroll systems and ERP platforms

Preferred

Vantagepoint experience is a plus
