Responsibilities

Assist patients with questions and concerns
Keep families informed
Serve as the patient’s main point of contact and the face of the NewYork-Presbyterian organization
Schedule patients for visits, tests, and admissions
Register patients when they arrive
Screen for medical necessity
Obtain necessary pre-certifications and authorizations

Qualification

Customer serviceElectronic health systemsSpanish bilingualHigh school diplomaAssociates degree

Required

High school diploma or GED
One year of customer service experience
Experience using electronic health information systems for registration and scheduling

Preferred

Associates degree
Spanish bilingual
