Facilities Project Coordinator (Venues)
City of Orlando is seeking a Facilities Project Coordinator who provides technical, administrative, and supervisory support across multiple venues. The role involves managing maintenance and repair projects, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and coordinating contractor activities to ensure efficient facility operations.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair projects across assigned City of Orlando venues, including:
HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning)
Electrical
Plumbing
Structural systems
Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs
Requisition equipment, tools, materials, and supplies needed for facility operations
Oversee and monitor work performed by outside contractors to ensure compliance with scope, quality, and safety standards
Support the Facility Manager with project planning, scheduling, and reporting
Conduct facility condition assessments and assist with documenting deficiencies and corrective actions
Provide operational support during events and respond to issues during non-standard hours as required
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to maintenance and project activities
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree or trade school with courses in Facility Management plus four (4) years experience in building construction and maintenance operations for a public facility; two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
A valid Florida Driver's License is required
