Responsibilities

Obtain packaging materials needed to run machines

Set-up machines following cGMP and THI procedures and specifications

Submit necessary maintenance documentation as required

Perform preventive maintenance on packaging equipment

Reports process or equipment problems to supervisor; performs minor or basic troubleshooting

Ensures work instructions, equipment log books, and other relevant records are current

Monitors process and equipment and makes necessary adjustments to maintain work instructions specifications

Monitors product quality

Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including environmental and safety rules and regulations

Performs related duties as assigned

Required

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or one-year certificate from college or technical school

Minimum of 1 year working in a manufacturing environment as an operator

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Basic mathematical calculations and applications

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
