MediaNews Group is seeking an Oracle Cloud Financial systems analyst to join the team! This role involves gathering business requirements, functional configuration, leading testing, user training, and ensuring solution adoption and system alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

Partner with finance and accounting teams to gather and document requirements, scope new work, and document Oracle cloud solution designs

Identify business requirements and map them to Oracle Cloud Functionality

Identify functionality gaps and define solutions

Prepare detailed requirement specification documents and functional specification documents

Configuration of Oracle Cloud financials module to meet requirements

Consult and participate in Cloud upgrade releases and new projects

Proactively stay ahead of new system features and functionality to improve business processes and champion change with stakeholders

Ensure end-user(s) have complete understanding of new capabilities through facilitation of training, documentation, and ongoing availability to ensure full adoption of solution

Function as a team member or leader on specified projects

Day to day support related activities to ensure the system is running as expected
