International Capital, LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with property accounting experience to support their accounting team. This role will be responsible for core accounting functions across multiple real estate entities and will also provide backup support for Accounts Payable, requiring a strong understanding of cash management.

Responsibilities

Calculate and process investor distributions
Process payroll and related journal entries
Apply cash management best practices, including awareness of fraud controls and internal safeguards
Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations
Calculate and record property management fees
Prepare quarterly financial statements
Record transactions in investment accounts, including capital activity and distributions
Process and track property tax payments
Assist with annual budgets for properties
Process loan payments and maintain related schedules
Monitor cash balances across all accounts

Qualification

Property accountingCash managementGeneral ledger accountingAccounting softwareEffective communication

Required

5+ years of accounting experience, with property accounting experience preferred
At least 2 years of cash management experience, including exposure to fraud prevention and internal controls
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
Proficiency with accounting software (MRI experience a plus)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills for working across accounting and property management teams
