Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments, brief interventions, and evidence-based therapeutic treatments for patients with acute and chronic illness
Offer crisis intervention, grief counseling, and support to patients, families, and staff
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive, patient-centered care plans
Provide education, training, and supervision to psychology interns, residents, and other trainees
Contribute to ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives related to trauma and burn care
Engage in program development and community outreach efforts

Qualification

Required

Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program
Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Florida
Experience working with burn and trauma patients in a healthcare setting
Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills
A commitment to evidence-based practices and continued professional development

Preferred

Fellowship or specialized training in consultation liaison, trauma psychology, or medical psychology preferred
