L&N Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time Member Service Representative/Teller to assist members with their financial transactions. The role involves processing transactions, providing financial solutions, and connecting members with appropriate services.

Responsibilities

Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders and travelers checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed

Cash checks and pay money from savings and checking accounts upon verification of signatures and/or member identification. Inspect all checks, bonds, money orders, etc. to determine their negotiability

Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone

Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services and connect members with Banking or Loan Officers who can further assist

Balance cash drawer and perform daily transactions

Practice confidentiality where indicated in employee matters and credit union operations

Cooperate and work together as a team with coworkers, maintain a neat work area, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
