Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for running established processes, driving optimization and cost-savings initiatives, and leading technician teams and operator training.

Responsibilities
Execute optimization and cost savings manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce costs
Oversee the running of established processes
Lead team of technicians who serve as line operator experts
Implement and lead operator training programs to improve process capability, standard work compliance and troubleshooting effectiveness
Support production startup, changeovers, and process stabilization to ensure consistent product performance and throughput
Monitor key manufacturing metrics (scrap, uptime, efficiency, quality)
Oversee maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize unplanned downtime
Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while supporting a culture of continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering (or related field), or equivalent manufacturing experience
3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with ERP systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
