Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Manager of Network Engineering to lead and influence the direction of IT network architecture and operations. The role involves managing projects, mentoring staff, and ensuring the successful implementation of network engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

Work with staff in developing and maintaining network opportunities, guidance on new technologies and platforms, and overseeing transitioning technologies to operational responsibility, while maintaining consistent communication with other teams regarding issues and improvement opportunities
Provides strategic direction and broadly advocates for all centralized network engineering operational technology, including private and public cloud
Implements process and management methods to produce network engineering excellence and best cost services
Plans and manages budgets, forecasts, projects, and associated staffing requirements

Required

Bachelor's Degree - field of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology or related field
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in technology operations roles providing data center/network architecture support/configuration, implementation efforts of projects and tasks, development of solutions at both the functional and technical layers for an entire organization (preferably a healthcare entity)
PLUS three (3) years leadership experience as supervisor, team/project lead, manager or above is required (may be inclusive of other experience)
Minimum of five (5) years working in healthcare IT team environment is required (may be inclusive of other experience)
