Logistics Analyst

The Judge Group is seeking a Logistics Analyst II to support daily shipping, receiving, documentation, and inventory control functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate shipment verification, prepares logistics documentation, maintains inventory levels, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Verify incoming and outgoing shipment contents against manifests, invoices, and orders
Inspect materials for damages, discrepancies, or nonconformance, and coordinate resolutions with internal teams
Prepare work orders, bills of lading, shipping orders, and other routing documentation
Determine the most efficient and cost‑effective shipping methods
Select appropriate shipping containers and package items to ensure safe delivery
Ensure quantities, routing, and destinations match shipment requests
Requisition and maintain adequate stock of shipping materials and supplies
Track shipment details such as weight, freight charges, space availability, and damages for reporting and recordkeeping
Maintain departmental databases and file all shipping/receiving documentation
Follow established policies, procedures, safety protocols, and environmental standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics processes
Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned

Required

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time‑management and organizational abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree + 2 years of experience, OR equivalent work experience

Preferred

Experience with MMAS compliance
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Basic understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Experience working in GOCO (Government‑Owned Contractor‑Operated) environments
Supply chain/logistics background
Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field
