Candidate should be willing to do Support P1/P2/P3 during off business hours as needed by the customer

Candidate should be local to Dallas, 5 Days Onsite, No Remote Option

Good Interpersonal skills

Ability to co-ordinate with offshore team

Good communication / Presentations skills

Required

The Data Center Operations Manager is responsible for the overall availability and reliability of data center operations

Managing hardware and network diagnostics, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Leading a team of technicians and operations staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations

Developing career paths for employees and ensuring effective communication within the team

Creating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) to support mission-critical environments

Quickly addressing and resolving operational issues, often acting as an escalation point for after-hours incidents

Analyzing production operations and initiating corrective actions to maintain operational stability

Involved in strategic planning for data center improvements, including infrastructure upgrades and capacity planning

A strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and cooling systems

Experience with hardware and network repair

Effective team management and the ability to mentor staff at all levels

Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical capabilities

Several years of experience in a data center or critical operations environment

Background in facilities management or IT operations

Independently troubleshoot sev1 and sev2 incidents and provide RCA

Proficient and have Automation experience in relevant technologies and tools

Knowledge on Service Now, Dynatrace, Vcenter

Knowledge on Vmware, AWS Cloud, Unix/Linux, Windows, Storage & Backup, Database
