In this role, you will prepare and review tax returns, advise clients on tax-saving strategies, and mentor junior accountants while enjoying a flexible work-life balance.

Responsibilities
Prepare & Review Returns: Handle individual and business tax returns with accuracy and confidence
Advise Clients: Identify tax-saving opportunities, recommend proactive strategies, and communicate with clients clearly and consistently
Lead & Mentor: Support and guide junior tax accountants, conduct peer reviews, and share feedback to strengthen team performance
Peak Season Performance: Reviewing 25-30 returns per week during peak season and 15 in off season (depending on position level) while maintaining quality and efficiency
Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with fellow senior accountants to ensure consistent, high-quality results and efficient processes
Stay Current: Keep up to date with tax law changes and compliance requirements to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients
Grow with Us: Participate in ongoing training and contribute ideas that improve our tax systems and client experience
Qualification
Required
Experience preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns
Proficient in tax software (CCH) and accounting systems; strong compliance knowledge
Skilled in peer review, mentoring, and supporting team members
Excellent communication and client advisory skills
A team player who appreciates a lighthearted culture (dad jokes welcome)
Preferred
CPA license or EA certification preferred; 4+ years in tax or public accounting
