Technical Support Specialist- Tier 1
Speco Technologies has been a leader in video surveillance and electronic accessories for sixty-five years. They are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide technical support to national distributors, licensed installers, IT staff, and end users, while also resolving issues and assisting with software and hardware configurations.

Responsibilities
Provide Technical Support via phone/email/remote desktop to national distributors, licensed installers, IT staff and end users
Resolve issues for clients via phone, or electronically
Test and verify functionality of Audio & CCTV Security equipment; support PC,MAC software and mobile applications
Track customer issues and resolutions within HubSpot ticketing system
Provide assistance with computer software and hardware configuration, networking, security and network implementation
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED; Associates preferred or a Certification or Degree in Electronics (Engineering, Design and/or Research and Development) or Computer Sciences (Computer Hardware, Software, Networking and/or Programming) from a trade school or college
Ability to speak and write clearly in English
Knowledge of relevant products and networking
Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
Demonstrated proficiency in typing and grammar
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Team player
Multi-tasking capabilities
Positive and professional demeanor
