Entry, Mid LevelMorgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an Attorney with a strong interest in Maritime law to join our South Florida Maritime group. This role offers an opportunity to grow and develop maritime litigation experience at the premier Plaintiff PI firm in the country.
Legal
Responsibilities
Day-to-day handling of mostly maritime litigation cases
Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
Guide clients through the case process
Maintain client relationships
Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
Work closely with Litigation Paralegals and Case Managers
Qualification
Required
Law degree from a fully accredited law school
An active member in good standing with the State Bar Association
Strong interest in maritime litigation
Excellent client service and communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
Preferred
Maritime experience
