Responsibilities

Architect, operate, and evolve a scalable, multi‑tenant cloud platform supporting VSaaS workloads

Develop and execute scaling strategies as customer usage increases

Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization

Support production environments with growing video, AI, and data requirements

Own production Kubernetes clusters and containerized services

Manage deployments, rolling updates, cluster upgrades, and health monitoring

Implement best practices for resource allocation, autoscaling, and system resiliency

Diagnose and resolve container-, pod-, and node‑level issues in real‑time environments

Deploy and manage observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)

Define and track metrics that reflect platform and customer experience health

Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and follow‑up improvements

Strengthen operational maturity through documentation and runbooks

Manage and scale MongoDB in production (replication, backups, etc)

Track and maintain database performance and reliability under sustained load

Implement data backup, retention, and disaster‑recovery strategies

Maintain data integrity and availability across all environments

Apply cloud security best practices (IAM, network security, secrets management)

Secure Kubernetes clusters and container workloads

Support compliance and enterprise security initiatives

Work with developers to proactively resolve vulnerabilities

Ensure stable, consistent cloud environments that support CI/CD pipelines

Collaborate with CI/CD and QA teams on deployment strategies and release processes

Use Infrastructure‑as‑Code for environment provisioning and repeatability

Enable safe rollbacks and controlled production deployments

Partner with Product, QA/QC, and Development teams to align on platform priorities

Assist with escalations related to platform performance or reliability

Mentor team members and help strengthen cloud and DevOps capabilities

Coordinate across teams in the U.S. and India to maintain platform consistency

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering

Strong hands‑on Kubernetes experience and familiarity with microservices architectures

Production experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Linode)

Experience managing MongoDB or similar NoSQL systems at scale

Background supporting high‑availability, customer‑facing SaaS systems

Excellent troubleshooting and incident response capabilities

Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams

Preferred

Experience with VSaaS, video platforms, or high‑data‑volume systems

Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)

Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, or similar tools

Exposure to security frameworks or compliance environments (SOC 2, NDAA, etc.)

Experience in a startup or rapidly scaling organization

Background supporting AI/ML workloads in production

Knowledge of edge‑to‑cloud system architectures

Experience participating in on‑call rotations

FinOps or cloud cost‑management experience
