Responsibilities
Provide technical support to employees for hardware and software issues
Manage IT service requests through platforms OSTicket, Zabbix, Phone & Email
Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems on company devices
Assist in the management of computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance
Assist in remote troubleshooting with the Networking Team
Collaborate with team members using OSTicket/Jira for project tracking and issue resolution
Conduct regular system checks to ensure compliance with security protocols
Document technical processes and create user guides for staff training
Qualification
Required
At least 3-5 years of proven experience in IT support or technical support roles
Help desk experience in a IT environment required, level 2 experience preferred
Strong knowledge of in depth problem solving experience in Windows operating systems and computer management practices
Minimum networking experience required
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and end-users
Self-Starter, and drive to learn is a must
Ability to Commute: Chicago, IL 60617 (Required)
IT Help Desk Support: 3 years (Required)
Preferred
A+ Certification preferred
Familiarity with IT service management tools such as Zabbix, Osticket is a plus
Experience with 365, Windows 10-11 for software deployment is beneficial but not required
Computer networking: 2 years (Preferred)
CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
