Responsibilities
Design and implement network solutions supporting both on-prem and cloud environments, with a major focus on AWS networking (multi-region builds, connectivity, recovery readiness)
Execute BAU network changes (routing/switching, LAN/WAN updates, firewall rule changes, direct connectivity work) and ensure changes are deployed cleanly and documented properly
Support project execution workstreams by partnering with network, security, and project teams to deliver infrastructure builds, troubleshoot blockers, and drive projects through closure activities
Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents/issues across enterprise and AWS environments, including occasional after-hours deployments (but mainly standard 9–5 support and troubleshooting)
Work heavily with AWS Direct Connect and firewall infrastructure to support secure connectivity and operational stability (Direct Connect called out as a major value-add)
Support and debug network automation efforts, including reviewing or troubleshooting scripts/tools built by peer automation teams (Terraform / Ansible / Python strongly preferred)
Provide knowledge-sharing and guidance to the existing team, helping reduce research burden and strengthening day-to-day execution in areas where AWS network expertise is limited internally
Qualification
Required
7–10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience, implementing complex LAN/WAN networking solutions
Strong AWS cloud networking experience, including multi-region builds and enterprise connectivity (Direct Connect highly preferred)
Advanced Cisco networking expertise, with Cisco ACI experience strongly preferred
Firewall implementation and operational experience, including supporting production environments and network security collaboration
Network automation exposure (Terraform, Ansible, Python) with ability to troubleshoot/debug automation-driven network changes
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Cisco ACI experience strongly preferred
