Responsibilities

Conduct research and review client files to support case development

Complete forms and releases with clients to obtain medical records, Social Security records, service records and other necessary records and information

Draft and submit claims, appeals, and correspondence to the VA

Assist claimants in understanding and pursuing their VA benefits

Manage and prioritize a high-volume caseload, meeting deadlines and ensuring timely communication

Review VA decisions to verify all documents are present in client files

Maintain detailed case records using a case management system

Provide compassionate support and guidance to clients throughout the process
