Responsibilities
Leading early-stage pursuit and estimating efforts, working closely with internal preconstruction teams to select the right projects
Applying real-world operational experience to influence how projects are estimated, sequenced, staffed, and delivered
Overseeing startup and execution of the division’s first projects, ensuring strong performance and client confidence
Hiring and developing the division’s team over time, including PMs, Superintendents, and field leadership
Partnering closely with executive leadership on go/no-go decisions, strategy, and long-term investment
Gradually transitioning into a full business unit leader with influence over strategy, structure, and financial performance
Qualification
Required
Background delivering Water/Wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and process piping projects
Hands-on, builder-type leader
Ability to roll up sleeves in early stages
Experience in actively supporting estimating and pursuit strategy
Operational credibility and strategic vision
Experience in launching, shaping, and growing a business unit
Ability to influence how projects are estimated, sequenced, staffed, and delivered
Experience overseeing startup and execution of projects
Ability to hire and develop a team including PMs, Superintendents, and field leadership
Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategy and long-term investment decisions
Ability to transition into a full business unit leader with influence over strategy, structure, and financial performance
