Responsibilities

Modify Rittal products to meet customer specifications
Perform First Article Inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
Conduct paint touch-ups as needed
Understand and follow assembly instructions for Rittal products
Maintain accuracy of materials used and recorded
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in daily tasks
Read and interpret blueprints to guide modifications
Use inspection tools to verify product quality and specifications
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Modify Rittal products to meet customer specifications

Wear safety-toed footwear
Safety glasses with side shields
Hearing protection
Additional personal protective equipment as required
Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift
Lift 25–50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above shoulder level
Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing assignments
Warehouse and manufacturing areas with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, and noise
May involve working near moving mechanical parts and using solvents or lubricants
Ability to read blueprints and use inspection tools
Familiarity with hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic mechanical skills
Basic computer literacy and ability to learn software systems as needed
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred

High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior experience in manufacturing or product modification is a plus
