This role will focus on SharePoint Online architecture, personalization, automation, and governance, while providing technical leadership and recommendations.

Responsibilities
Design and manage interactions between Student Hub and Staff Hub
Ensure seamless navigation, unified search, and role-specific digital experiences
Implement Audience Targeting using metadata and SharePoint User Profile Service
Deliver personalized news and resources by role, school site, or grade level
Redesign and standardize enterprise Power Automate approval workflows
Support district-wide administrative and content-publishing processes
Implement and manage Microsoft Clarity
Analyze heatmaps and session recordings to drive UI/UX improvements
Develop reusable SharePoint site templates and blueprints
Automate template application during site provisioning
Build and maintain custom SharePoint widgets and SPFx components
Support app embeds such as the Annual District Calendar
Manage SharePoint permissions and access models
Automate access using Azure AD / Dynamic 365 Groups
Enforce standardized security and governance settings
Qualification
Required
6–8 years total software development / IT architecture experience
4+ years hands-on experience with SharePoint Online & Microsoft 365
Technical leadership on at least one large-scale intranet (1,000+ users)
Expert-level Power Automate (multi-stage approval workflows)
Strong Power Apps experience
SharePoint & Microsoft 365 administrative experience
Deep understanding of Azure AD integration and metadata services
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Graph API
Integrating multiple data sources into SharePoint-driven experiences
Prior public-sector or education-sector intranet experience
