Valley Children's Healthcare is seeking a Communications Technician to operate telecommunications systems and provide support services. The role involves answering calls, monitoring hospital alarms, and ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Operating telecommunications systems and equipment
Providing a wide range of support services
Answering, screening, transferring incoming calls
Monitoring hospital alarms, radios and emergency systems
Completing daily documentation of call log sheets, One Stop Shop, and Code Assessments
Routing phone calls from both internal and external customers
Receiving One Stop Shop calls and dispatching and/or entering data into work order ticketing systems
Enforcing Valley Children's Healthcare policies, procedures, and protocols for the Communications department
Utilizing hospital computers, equipment and systems

Qualification

Multi-line telephone experienceCustomer service skillsBilingual skillsProfessional demeanorOffice related skills

Required

High School Diploma/G.E.D
Minimum one (1) year Related experience

Preferred

College Degree - 2 year
Hospital or medical office experience
Bilingual Skills
The ability to work variable days/hours as required, including holidays
