Responsibilities
Iterate on and explore strategies quickly, testing a variety of selling, quoting, and production tactics
Run and review marketing, sales, quoting, and other metrics as relevant to program tests and iterations
Make strategy pivots and perseverance decisions based on data and other observations
Coordinate customer meetings, gather feedback, and quote negotiations to fine-tune quoting strategies
Complete injection molding quotes for customers
Build vendor relationships domestically and internationally, expanding the network as needed per explorations
Use technical knowledge to determine standard production needs and how to effectively manage both standard quality and customer-specific requirements
Take the lead on open injection molding orders, providing updates to customers and working directly with vendors, ensuring orders will meet customer expectations
Support the shipping team on injection molding orders, as needed
Manage and run marketing efforts, collaborating with the sales and marketing team as necessary
Develop and roll out training materials, procedures, and plans to the Sales and Operations pillars
Always practice excellent internal and external customer service, which includes timeliness, proper preparation, consistency, and overall dependability
Develop and roll out a go-to-market strategy for injection molding, collaborating with the sales and marketing team as necessary
Determine a market segment for injection molding, exploring and defining decision-makers, industries, customer requirements, project types, and more
Determine best quoting strategies for pricing and lead time, including how to best present quote information to the customer
Establish a production strategy that can involve international and domestic partners, collaborating with the operations team as necessary
Work with the operations team to ensure packaging, inventory management, and quality requirements are met
Evaluate technical needs that can improve efficiencies and effectiveness for the program, working with the Technology team to roll out system improvements
Establish financial and operational targets alongside the VPs of Finance and R&D
Effectively present on program progress and other testing plans to the executive team
Remain knowledgeable on new injection molding technology, implementing as applicable
Coordinate with R&D for long term integration into our rapid machining program to get injection molded parts to customers faster than anyone else on the market
Qualification
Required
5+ Years of Experience in Injection Molding
2+ Years of Experience in Injection Molding in a Technical Role
2+ Years of Experience in Injection Molding as a Manager/Decision Maker
Strategically Minded with Demonstrated Ability to Create and Deploy Solutions
Demonstrable Ability to Manage, Collaborate, and Work Effectively in a Cross-Functional Team Environment
High Technical Ability
Strong Prioritization and Organizational Skills
Strong Listening and Presentation Skills
Highly Inquisitive with a Desire to Learn
Ability to Relocate: Cedarburg, WI 53012: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (Required)
