Responsibilities
Manage accounting for international subsidiaries across Israel, Spain, Cyprus, Romania, Austria, and Germany
Handle multi-currency (6-8 currencies) and multi-entity accounting, including journal entries, intercompany transactions, eliminations, and foreign currency translations
Build and maintain accurate, auditable AP and AR records, moving beyond high-level journal entries
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal accounting teams, international subsidiaries, other departments, and external banking partners
Partner with leadership to standardize processes, improve reporting, and scale operations
Establish audit-ready records for recently acquired subsidiaries and drive process improvements and reporting standardization
Provide backup support for foreign AP and handle special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Exceptional communication skills — both written and verbal. Ability to clearly articulate information across teams
Inter-company transaction experience — hands-on experience managing transactions between multiple entities
Multi-currency experience — experience working with at least 2–3 currencies is required; more is a plus
Foreign exchange (FX) experience — strong understanding and practical experience are a must
Multi-entity experience — highlight candidates who have worked across multiple entities at scale
Cross-functional collaboration — ability to partner with various departments; we have 47 global subsidiaries, so navigating different personalities and working styles is important
High-volume transaction environment experience — ideally from a large, fast-paced company handling high-volume funds. Experience with at least 2 currencies, and ideally 8+, especially European currencies
5+ years of accounting experience in a multinational, multi-entity environment
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, FX, intercompany transactions, and consolidations
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable building processes and structure in a developing environment
Effective working with diverse personalities, cultures, and time zones
Strong written and verbal communication
