Responsibilities
Translate the product vision and the roadmap into squad deliverables and release plans
Create and refine the backlog of user stories with the squad to provide the right level of detail at the right time to achieve definition of ready (preparation for development)
Establish story acceptance criteria and lead the squad's backlog by accepting or rejecting the backlog items, according to acceptance criteria during each sprint
Seek feedback from partners and clients and incorporate into future backlog items
Bring the voice of the client (external/internal) into the squad
Cultivate relationships with key partners to identify issues, risks, and dependencies, and maintain alignment to achieve product strategy
Incorporate and prioritize technical work to deliver on release objectives
Improve product value by evaluating implementation alternatives and considering impact of changing scope on budget and estimates
Attend and participate in all squad meetings (sprint and release events)
Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Exhibit strong understanding of Agile Software Development (primarily Scrum and Kanban) principles and techniques
Understand and use applicable work management tools (i.e. JIRA) for decision making and collaboration
Drive creative and problem-solving activity with all participants and partners
Knowledge of financial services operations, in particular Post Trade Processing, trends and user demands
Complete the Product Vision and effectively translate into Product Roadmap and Backlog items to deliver the highest value
