Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing processes for new and existing products
Analyze production workflows to identify and eliminate inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks
Conduct time studies, line balancing, and root cause analyses to improve throughput and reduce costs
Optimize process parameters to improve yield, quality, and equipment utilization
Specify, design, and validate manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tooling
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
Support implementation of 6S, standardized work, and visual management systems
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and create projects that drive improvements in OEE, scrap rate, and cycle time
Develop and maintain process documentation (PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, SOPs)
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to investigate and resolve nonconformances or process deviations (CAPA)
Manage process engineering projects from concept to completion, including cost and timeline tracking
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain on product launches and design changes
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and process validation documentation
Implement process monitoring and control systems to ensure consistent quality and performance
Use data-driven decision-making to guide process changes and improvements
Train operators and technicians on new equipment, procedures, and best practices
Provide technical support for daily production issues and troubleshooting
Serve as a process expert and mentor to junior engineers or interns
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Engineering/Scientific discipline, or
Associates degree in technical discipline with minimum 2-yrs work experience
