Call Quest Solution is seeking a Backend Java Developer to design and build high-performance, scalable backend systems. The role involves owning systems end-to-end, from design through production support, and working independently or in small teams to enhance existing platforms and develop new systems.

Responsibilities

Design and develop backend solutions for infrastructure, regulatory reporting, and back-office systems
Enhance existing platforms and build new systems from scratch
Develop APIs and internal GUIs for business users
Provide production support for systems you build
Partner with engineers to define and implement new technologies
Work in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
5–7+ years of commercial Java development experience
Strong database experience (Oracle preferred)
Hands-on experience with: Hibernate & JPA, Spring Framework / Spring Boot, Java-based REST frameworks (Spring Boot, Vert.x, etc.)
Experience with messaging / queueing technologies: Kafka, MQ, JMS
Solid experience working with Linux

Preferred

Experience with JBoss or similar application servers
Experience building applications with JSP / JSF
Experience developing SWIFT applications
