Business Development Representative

Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities within the Montgomery County, MD market to drive growth in home health care services
Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare partners
Generate, qualify, and follow up on leads through in-person visits, networking events, cold calling, and community outreach
Deliver compelling presentations and sales pitches that clearly communicate the value and benefits of the organization’s home health care services
Collaborate closely with clinical, intake, and operations teams to ensure a smooth referral process and exceptional client experience
Track, manage, and report sales activity, pipeline progress, and referral outcomes using CRM tools and internal systems
Meet or exceed established sales, referral, and revenue goals on a consistent basis
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and local market dynamics to identify opportunities for expansion
Represent the organization professionally in the community while upholding the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and customer satisfaction

Required

Proficiency in Inside Sales and Lead Generation to identify potential clients and drive new business opportunities

Proven experience in Sales and Business Development, including meeting or surpassing sales targets
Ability to work collaboratively with teams while also excelling independently
Strong organizational skills and a results-driven approach to work

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
Familiarity with healthcare industry expertise is considered an advantage
