They are seeking a Test and QA Technician to assist the engineering team in identifying failures in RF wireless network devices and implementing changes to enhance system robustness.

Responsibilities

Analyze device performance in buildings, and look for patterns in failures that could indicate firmware bugs or design shortcomings
Visit Runwise buildings to install, reprogram, or remove devices, and assist on-site data gathering for analysis by the engineering team
Assist in troubleshooting and repairing test jigs and fixtures as needed
Suggest and conduct experiments using Runwise’s RF test chamber system to stress test device communications under various conditions

Required

5+ years of experience working with electronic equipment
Experience shaping, building, or coordinating product development from idea to finished product
Ability to complete complex or unclear tasks by using good judgment to produce the desired end effects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals of various seniority across the company, as well as customers
Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining focus and accuracy
Confidence to make well-informed, independent decisions while escalating issues as appropriate

Preferred

Experience working with integrated hardware and software is a major plus
