Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain analytical tools and models supporting equity research and investment analysis
Design and manage data pipelines, databases, and structured datasets for research workflows
Integrate internal systems with external data sources and analytics platforms
Improve research tooling and processes to increase efficiency, robustness, and usability
Support quantitative research initiatives, including data analysis, back-testing, and performance evaluation
Explore the application of statistical methods and machine learning techniques within research and analytics
Collaborate closely with technologists and investment professionals to solve complex analytical challenges
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
2–5 years of experience in a technically demanding environment (finance, technology, data, or similar)
Strong programming skills in Python; experience with C++ is advantageous but not required
Experience working in Linux-based environments; cloud exposure is a plus
Solid understanding of data structures, databases, and analytical systems
Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in data-driven problem solving
Preferred
Knowledge of regional equity markets (e.g. Asia) is beneficial but not essential
