Business Development Assistant/Coordinator
Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. is seeking a Business Development Assistant or Coordinator for their Dallas office to assist with firm-wide marketing and business development initiatives. The role involves providing tactical support in executing various initiatives, including creating presentations, managing events, and updating practice group materials.

Responsibilities
Assist in drafting documents for client meetings (i.e. written materials and PowerPoint presentations), creating bios and announcements for new hires, and collecting information for internal and external newsletters
Help with the implementation of the Firm’s CRM and experience matter collection systems by inputting and editing data and setting up mailing lists
Working with the Events team, assist with executing client events from beginning to end, which includes compiling invitee lists, distributing invitations, monitoring RSVPs, working with outside vendors, creating nametags, helping with check-in, and assisting attorneys with follow-up efforts
Assist in drafting new content for all of the Firm’s practice areas, collect and revise matter descriptions, and seek approval to use information externally
Review and edit internal and external materials to ensure grammatical accuracy and consistency
Help track and evaluate sponsorship opportunities throughout the year, collaborate with attorneys and external contacts to fulfill sponsorship obligations, and manage the Firm’s local and industry-focused memberships
Work with various practices in the Firm to help collect information and draft annual Chambers submissions for individual attorneys and practices
Assist with updating the website on a regular basis, which includes updating attorney bios with new representative experience and memberships; adding presentations to the 'Newsroom'; and refreshing practice group descriptions as needed
Qualification
Required
4-year degree
1-3 years of experience in a professional services marketing department
Excellent interpersonal skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented
Comprehensive understanding of strategic marketing goals and objectives
Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is a plus
Experience completing projects with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask efficiently
Extraordinary attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or other related degrees
1-3 years of relevant experience in a professional services, law firm, or media environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals with differing opinions and diverse personalities
Excellent writing and proofreading skills
The candidate must be able to live and work in Dallas (no relocation offered and no remote candidates, please)
