Responsibilities
Supervise the designated collection team: Train, assign schedules, manage time-off requests, monitor performance, and ensure that team and individual goals are met
Create procedures to ensure goals are met; this goal may be set by the client or Senior management
Comply with policies and procedures of Zwicker & Associates, P.C
Comply with FDCPA
Comply with state consumer protection laws
Provide regular updates on collection metrics, trends, and team performance
Responsible for tracking all payments and notifying financial operations upon identifying any posting issues
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum three years of experience in call center management, preferred
Minimum three years of experience in consumer collections, preferably third-party
Knowledge of the FDCPA and State Consumer Protection Laws
Must be able to perform all collection duties
Ability to work professionally and courteously with consumers, coworkers, and clients
Effective decision-making skills
Excellent coaching/mentoring skills
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule
Be able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence
Be able to lift five pounds or greater
Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times
Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
Be able to concentrate and use critical thinking
