Responsibilities
Architect, deploy, and maintain SQL/Postgres/DB2 databases across production and development environments
Design, implement and document new solutions utilizing best practice technologies
Act as a point of escalation for incidents/changes/requests
Manage SQL/PostGres/DB2 Server databases
Configure and maintain database servers and processes
Monitor system's health and performance
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
Understand the DB related issues and help them resolved
Communicate with LOB and design and implement the solution, as required
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
Provide suggestions for solutions
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
Provide support for critical production systems
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
Qualification
Required
Architect, deploy, and maintain SQL/Postgres/DB2 databases across production and development environments
Design, implement and document new solutions utilizing best practice technologies
Act as a point of escalation for incidents/changes/requests
Manage SQL/PostGres/DB2 Server databases
Configure and maintain database servers and processes
Monitor system's health and performance

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–4 years of experience in desktop support or engineering
Knowledge of ITIL practices and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
Preferred
Windows server experience a plus
