Responsibilities
Prepares construction drawings and sketches
Facilitates planning construction methods and procedures
Initiates requisitions for field purchases
Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment
Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required
Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely
Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities
Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development
Reviews and approves inspection test plans
Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals
Qualification
Required
Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Experience with the NEC
Experience inspecting cable tray and channel, duct banks, cable pulling, and terminations
Experience with inspecting substations and electrical distribution equipment
Understanding of electrical single lines, three lines, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Ability to acquire Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
