Business Software Alliance is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its growth and strategic initiatives team. This role involves providing essential administrative, logistical, and strategic support to the Chief Growth Officer and requires exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure the Chief Growth Officer’s projects and the Foundation’s programs run smoothly through smart prioritization, effective scheduling, and proactive problem-solving

Develop briefing books, backgrounders, and presentation materials for meetings, events, and speaking engagements involving senior leadership, policymakers, and industry executives

Provide detailed, hands-on support for organizational events—from scheduling and logistics to materials preparation, participant coordination, and on-site execution

Build, maintain, and manage lists, databases, and tracking systems related to member engagement, stakeholder outreach, and organizational initiatives

Support outreach to member companies, policymakers, and external partners through effective communication, follow-up, and coordination

Work closely with teams across BSA—communications, policy, government affairs, and operations—to advance growth and engagement goals

Required

2–5 years of relevant experience in campaign operations, political or nonprofit management, fundraising, government, or a similarly fast-paced, detail-driven environment

Bachelor's degree required

Outstanding organizational and project management skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with accuracy and composure

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong judgment, discretion, and problem-solving instincts

Comfort working with senior executives, policymakers, and external stakeholders

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Willingness to travel occasionally for events and meetings
