Workforce Development Intern- Summer 2026

They are seeking a Workforce Development Intern to assist in planning, development, and implementation of workforce development projects, while maintaining compliance with agreements and preparing grant applications.

Responsibilities

Maintain workforce development agreement files (which should include the original agreement, all amendments to the agreement, and copies of all correspondence relating to the agreements)
Work with the Workforce Development team to ensure compliance with workforce development agreements
Prepares grant applications and plans to receive funding for various workforce training programs
Assist the Workforce Development team with special projects
Prepare agreement summaries for workforce development projects
Prepare offer summaries for new workforce development incentive projects

Required

High School Diploma
Currently Attending a College or University
Related experience preferred
Course work in Public Policy, Planning, Workforces, or Community Development
Strong interpersonal skills, self-starter, and ability to work independently
Familiarity with governments
Familiarity with or interest in sustainability
Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Power Point)
