Design Engineer - Water Resources
Bolton & Menk, Inc. is a company specializing in community infrastructure solutions with over 75 years of experience. They are seeking a Design Engineer, EIT, to join their Water Resources team, where the role involves providing technical analysis, drainage design, and modeling for various stormwater quality and drainage projects.

Responsibilities
Assist Project Engineers with design and construction phase activities on water resources related projects
Develop hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for municipal storm drain systems and stormwater treatment
Assist with CAD production of storm drain improvements, and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs)
Assist Project Engineers with NPDES and MS4 compliance and Watershed district permitting and coordination
Assist with producing project drainage plans and specifications, preparing cost and quantity take-off estimates
Develop regional stormwater plans and/or floodplain modeling and analysis
Assist with design and permitting for Stream Restoration and Wetland Restoration projects
Field work may include SWPPP inspections, infiltration testing, field measurements, site visits, and/or construction observation, including interacting with contractors, sub-contractors, residents and City staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on water resources or bio-systems engineering, or equivalent program from an accredited college
Certified Engineer-in-Training or able to obtain within 12 months of hire
Working knowledge and skills in CAD and design software. (i.e. AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation)
Ability to learn and utilize drainage modeling and design software (XPSWMM, AutoDesk Storm & Sanitary, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS)
Possess a valid drivers license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required
Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship
