Responsibilities

Lead front-end development efforts for e-commerce platforms
Manage and mentor a team of front-end developers
Ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
Drive the technical direction of the front-end architecture

Required

7+ years of front-end development experience, with at least 2+ years in a tech lead or people management role
Deep, hands-on expertise in React and the broader React ecosystem (Redux, React Query, Webpack, etc.)
Strong proficiency in Node.js and experience building BFFs or server-side rendered applications
Proven experience working with a major e-commerce platform; direct experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Site Genesis or SFRA architecture is a significant plus
A solid understanding of omnichannel retail concepts and a passion for solving the unique technical challenges they present
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Experience with mobile development (React Native, iOS, Android) or PWAs
Familiarity with in-store retail technology and POS systems
Experience in a large, enterprise-scale retail environment
Strong understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility (WCAG) standards
