Responsibilities

Review bidding documents including mechanical plans, specification, contract documents

Handle HVAC / BAS equipment selection and pricing, technical writing of proposal, and developing cost analysis spreadsheets for bidding

Communicate with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and mechanical contractors for clarification for sales engineers, application engineers and project administrators

Experience in the HVAC industry related to estimating or willing to learn

Prepares proposal and pricing breakdowns while evaluating equipment savings/costs

Assembles bid files, including all development information, in customer relationship management (CRM) system to prepare estimate

Responsible for the cost estimation of Air Distribution equipment and systems related to assigned bid opportunities
